Select anything on your Mac — a word, a page, a part of the screen, a video — and see what it means right where it is. The original stays the original.

Select a phrase in the sentence — its meaning and reading appear right under it.Or try:

東京には美しい公園がたくさんあります。

Prepared text on this page. In the app: text you select in your apps, or any part of the screen. Drag the panel: the line keeps hold of the phrase.

Press ⌘C twice — or a shortcut of your own.

How it works

  1. Select a word or a sentence in an app…

  2. …press ⌘C twice, or your own shortcut…

  3. …and the meaning appears right there.

2 · A chat

Apps that won’t let you select: drag over them, and the translation lies over each message.

3 · A document

Paste text, drop a text file or up to five pictures: each paragraph with its translation under it. Point at a glossary term, and both sides light up.

東京の公園 — Tokyo’s parks; 東京には美しい公園がたくさんあります。 — Tokyo has many beautiful parks.; 春には桜が咲きます。 — Cherry blossoms bloom in spring.

4 · Burned-in subtitles

Your language on a band under the picture, line under line.
